Who we are
Our team has 40 years' experience in building and insulating homes. That background matters in a loft. It means we look at more than the insulation: we notice how the roof is built, how air moves through it, where moisture might collect and how you actually use the space.
We are installers of SuperQuilt multifoil insulation, made by YBS Insulation, and we also work with other insulation materials where they are the better fit. Alongside insulation we fit loft ladders and hatches, lay raised boarding, carry out complete loft makeovers and offer loft surveys and condensation checks. Our approach
- Survey first. We do not quote blind. Every job starts with a free survey so the recommendation is based on your loft, not a guess.
- Plain English. We explain what we found and what we suggest without jargon, and we put it in writing.
- The right product for the space. SuperQuilt suits some lofts, mineral wool or PIR suit others, and sometimes a combination works best. We will tell you why we have recommended something.
- Careful fitting. Insulation only works if it is installed properly, with ventilation kept clear and joints and edges finished neatly.
- Working with what you have. It does not matter whether your loft already has a ladder or boarding. We plan around it.
What we won't do
- No hard sell. You can take your time with a quote, ask questions and get other opinions.
- No claims we can't back up. We will not promise percentage savings or tell you a product beats everything else on the market. Product performance belongs to the manufacturer's tested build-ups, and we say so.
- No guessing outside our trade. If we see signs of roof leaks, damaged timbers, electrical problems or damp, we will recommend a qualified specialist rather than diagnose it ourselves.
- No covering up problems. We will not insulate or board over something that needs fixing first.
